Nossa História

Somos uma comunidade que acredita na educação e que olha para o futuro de um jeito diferente.

Desde 1988, acreditamos que é possível mudar o mundo através da união de pessoas e saberes, compartilhando com mães e pais, alunas e alunos, um projeto educativo que constantemente se renova.

Para isso, contamos com uma equipe de professores que prezam pela formação contínua, alunas e alunos que estão engajados na sua formação como cidadãos. Tudo é pensado como agente educativo transformador: o espaço comum, as salas de aula, o uso de tecnologias. Vivemos a educação de maneira pulsante, para além da sala de aula.

Our History

We are a community that believes in education and looks at the future differently.

Since 1988, we have believed that it is possible to change the world through collaboration and knowledge, sharing with parents and students an educational project that is constantly renewed.

To achieve this, we count on a team of teachers who value continuous education and students who are engaged in their education as citizens. Everything is thought of as a transforming educational agent: the common space, the classrooms, the use of technology. We live education in a pulsating way, beyond the classroom.

Acima de tudo, a Sant’Anna International School entende a educação como um fazer constante que atravessa e transborda a sala de aula. Por isso, sempre temos como meta a formação múltipla, ativa e interdisciplinar das nossas alunas e alunos.

Queremos que todos da nossa comunidade se sintam parte de um bem comum: formar o nosso futuro. Para que isso seja possível, trabalhamos com o sistema de ensino-aprendizagem colaborativo, no qual o protagonista é justamente o nosso aluno.

O nosso ambiente de educação valoriza o desenvolvimento das habilidades e competências, com a resiliência e capacidade necessária para superar problemas e promover ambientes saudáveis.

Temos como filosofia pedagógica transformar a criança e o adolescente em cidadãos plenos, autônomos, intelectualmente capacitados e emocionalmente saudáveis.

Para atingir esse objetivo, sustentamos o nosso trabalho em uma metodologia colaborativa e no ensino híbrido, convencidos de que a pedagogia ativa, bem como o uso de materiais diversos e de tecnologias, são vivências responsáveis por permitir que as nossas alunas e alunos ampliem seu conhecimento de mundo.

Educational Concept

Above all, Sant'Anna International School understands education as a constant process that crosses and overflows the classroom. That is why we always have as our goal the multiple, active, and interdisciplinary education of our students.

We want everyone in our community to feel part of a common good: shaping our future. For this to be possible, we work with a collaborative teaching-learning system, in which the protagonist is precisely our student.

Our teaching environment values the development of the abilities and skills, with the resilience and capacity needed to overcome problems and promote healthy environments.

We have as a pedagogical philosophy to transform children and adolescents into full, autonomous, intellectually capable, and emotionally healthy citizens.

To achieve this goal, we base our work on a collaborative methodology and on hybrid teaching, convinced that active pedagogy, as well as the use of diverse materials and technologies, are responsible for allowing our students to expand their knowledge of the world.

Strategic Plan

Dear Members of the Sant'Anna Community

On behalf of the Board of Directors and the school leadership, I am pleased to present the strategic plan that will guide our institutional objectives until 2026. It is important to emphasize that the process of developing this plan relied on the participation of parents, students, faculty, and staff, who provided important information obtained through the results of surveys. We are certain that this plan demonstrates Sant’Anna’s commitment to providing an educational program of excellence.

Sant'Anna International School, founded in 1988, is a private, co-educational day school located in Vinhedo, São Paulo. Sant’Anna offers two education programs: the Brazilian Program and the International Program.

Accreditation

Sant'Anna is accredited by Cognia and the Brazilian Ministry of Education. All students enrolled in the International Program follow the college preparatory American diploma, completing 26 Carnegie units distributed as demonstrated.

In addition to the American diploma, students with academic Portuguese, follow the Brazilian diploma requirements as demonstrated. Sant’Anna is one of the twenty Brazilian schools to be recognized as a Google for Education Reference School.

Dual Diploma: By the completion of the High School international program, Sant'Anna students receive a Dual Diploma (Brazilian and International Curriculum Diplomas)

K12 Private Academy

Students who do not complete the Brazilian diploma program are enrolled in comprehensive courses through K12 International Academy. These courses are designated with an IP on the school transcript.

The students that do not speak Portuguese fluently attend Portuguese Language Learning classes (PLL), the ones that want to take an online course as a elective and the ones that want to take a AP or Honors course should participate in this program!

K12, Honors, and Advanced Placement courses are available to all students in the International Program. K12 much like our school, is accredited by Cognia.
